Counseling in Space helps you prepare for the NCMHCE with original client cases and explanations for each answer choice.
Why we built it.
Most NCMHCE prep was built for a different kind of test. Candidates drill definitions, then sit down to an exam made of client stories that unfold across sessions, with decisions that can’t be taken back.
So we started from the story. Every one of our 70 case studies is original and written in the exam’s own format: an intake, then two sessions weeks apart. Every question is tagged to today’s NBCC outline and to the July 2027 blueprint, and every answer choice comes with a reason.
Then we built the rest around how people actually improve: short lessons to learn an idea, cases to use it, a review queue for what slipped, and full timed exams to rehearse the day itself.

Plausible answer choices
Wrong answers are things a real but less skilled counselor might do. No throwaways, no keys you can guess from the longest option.
Every answer explained
Every option has a rationale, citing sources like DSM-5-TR and the ACA Code of Ethics, so a miss becomes a lesson.
Current and July 2027 formats
Everything is tagged to both blueprints, so your prep follows the exam you’ll actually sit.
Clearly labeled score estimates
NBCC doesn’t publish a fixed cut score for today’s exam, so our pass signals are always labeled as estimates.
